My visit was unique in that I went in for an appraisal of jewelry that I inherited and instead of an appraisal, the young gentleman just made fun of what I brought in. He indicated that it was only worth the melt-down value of the metal. I brought in vintage Navajo jewelry. It was a terrible experience. The owner seemed friendly but they evidently only want to sell precious jewels and have no care of their customers needs. They should never advertise themselves as appraisers!
