I have been a visitor to the Village Bakery for over twenty years. When my children were young a quick stop for gingerbread men or women or cookies was a must. My dinner guest enjoyed the most delicious desserts that a forty mile drive from Athens could afford. And when my daughter decided to marry, she chose to use the Village Bakery for her wedding cake. The cake was delivered on time to the Athens Country Club, an out of town venue, and was not only delicious but was gorgeously decorated and expertly adorned with brilliant crystals. Of all the vendors we dealt with planning the wedding, we knew through past experience that we need not worry about the cake. Thank you Betty, David and the Village Bakery team for making our most important events throughout the years consistently memorable! C. Walls
