ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! After purchasing a puppy, of which was properly cared for and vetted prior to purchase I took him to my regular vet. This was less than a week ago. My pup had a clean bill of health as of February 9th. We have experienced loose stools which our vet thought would be caused from the change in diet. Today is February 17th and we are still experiencing watery bowels. My thought was to save the hour and a half trip to my regular vet and take him in to be seen close to home to make sure he isn't dehydrated and make sure we as puppy parents are doing all we can to make sure he's happy and well taken care of. FM 529 Animal Hospital - Dr. Ansari - expressed with particular distress that our dog has somehow contracted several types of worms (that he didn't have 6 days ago) He prescribed three medications, two for worms and the other turns out to be nothing more than imodium (over the counter). I was charged 20.00 for one pill of each wormer, then was charged 45.00 for a total of 5 over the counter imodium! After it was all said and done with I am out just under 200.00 for a dog with the runs! I call my regular doc and find that everything he has claimed is wrong with my pup is incorrect! I will never again (for the sake of saving time) go to anyone other than my regular vet! And for the love of God will never again go to or recommend that ANYONE take a loved pet to this clinic. 1st warning sign: they charge for the visit before actually examining your pet, then stack on charges while being seen. 2nd warning sign: they will change their tone as soon as they find out you have a regular vet 3rd warning sign: they will disregard all records you come in with and claim that the doctor previously seen is incorrect 4th warning sign: they will force you to sign a receipt that is separate from your invoice stating that there are no returns or refunds for services or items purchased before they give you your invoice!!!!!!!! if you love and care for your pets, regardless of your situation and would like a vet who will love your fur-family as much as you do take them to Dr Webb, True Companion Vet in Spring Texas! It is worth the drive and worth the money! YOUR PET WILL THANK YO
