My daughter was enrolled at Garden Oaks Baptist Early Learning Center for 7 months. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The teachers in the infant class are very caring, but when we moved to the next class, the problems began. My daughter continuously was getting bit on a regular basis by the same child. My child was not the only kid getting bit. I had multiple meetings with the Director to address this issue without any resolution. Her response was that kids bite and there was nothing she was going to do about it. Also, in the mornings, they combine the classes together when there are not that many kids. This is an unsafe practice. My daugher, who was 6 months at the time was in the room with 2 and 3 year olds who were running around and pushing her over. There were many times when there were more kids per adult in a room that exceeded the state requirements. I also brought this up to the director who told me that she was cutting back on labor costs. This is unacceptable. Safety should always come first. They are also closed for Spring Break and 2 weeks at Christmas, but you have to pay for the entire months. This daycare is very unprofessional and unsafe. Please look elsewhere. The teachers are kind and want to do the right thing, but the Administration is not very effective.
