Review content:
My best friend went to this salon to have her hair colored for the first time in twelve years. When I saw her hair, I could barely tell she had any change at all. When I questioned her, she stated that she was unhappy with this very expensive service but was scared to do anything about it. After much coaxing, she went back and explained to the owner what the dissatisfaction was: not enough color change for $250.00. I was with her when she returned to have her hair redone like she had wanted. I was thinking of making an appointment myself since I had not had my hair professionally touched in years. What I witnessed was real disappointing. Although the staff was accommodating, no one was warm or friendly. In fact, the whole atmosphere was that of an assembly line. One person washes, another cuts while yet another colors. Not once did I hear that anyone was overly concerned that she was initially dissatisfied. Nor did anyone offer any incentive for either of us to return. This hardly seems like wise customer service, especially since I was a potential customer. After the whole experience, I would NEVER patronize Jackson-Ruiz, nor would I ever tell anyone to go there for anything. I think the owners need to get in touch with what makes a successful business last: outstanding customer service that creates lasting, loyal customers. Pros: location Cons: assembly line atmosphere, overpriced, pretentious
