Wow! If you need new glasses, this is where you need to go. I've been going to Dr. Kitchen since I moved to austin a few years back, and the service is unparallelled. Valerie, the optician, truly has a gift for helping you find frames that will look great on your face. I get compliments on my glasses almost every day! Despite the small size of the office, there is actually a greater selection of unique frames than I have ever seen in a large chain like lenscrafters, ect. Dr. Kitchen has a great bedside manner, kind, with some jokes thrown in. He lets you know what he is doing and why, and is concerned with your long term eye health. All in all, they recieve my highest recommendation. Pros: small office makes visits very personal, you don't feel like a number, service, selection Cons: limited hours and appointment openings.
