Sometimes it can be scary (being a young, single woman) to go get your car fixed. But Tech Auto is in a good neighborhood (very good: Allen Pkwy/RiverOaks) and the people aren't scary or sketchy. Bobby, the owner, is as southern and honest about things as they come. He'll tell you if the repairs will cost more than the car is worth. (He's told my friend before). I have a 5 year old BMW, and I always take my car here. 3 options: Take your car to the dealership, take your car to some sketchy shop off Airline Drive, or take it here. Take it here. They have all the stuff to fix BMWs and whatever else kind of car. Not as expensive as (overhead) at a dealership and not in a shady part of town and trustworthy...so, I'd highly reccomend taking your car here-- whether it's German or domestic. I've seen high-end sports cars here and also minivans, so they do it all it looks like. (And if you need a ride to work and work nearby like downtown-- he drops you off so you don't have to get a coworker to bring you to work AND drop you off...so that's nice/convenient). Pros: Honest, Good service, Treats women fair (important!) Cons: None really
