Review content:
Not sure why Michael23 had such a bad experiance here. Because my girl(friend) and I stopped in here on vacation from Omaha,Ne and were TOTALLY impressed by everything. I am a former restaurant mngr. and chef for 15 years and have spoiled my beautiful lady friend with my cooking. And she knows great food as a result of that. We were seated within 60 seconds of entering.Yes, granted we did get there around 6:30. But as anyone knows, you have to arrive a little early at such a great place,or you may have to wait a bit. As we found out. Because shortly after we arrived, the place was packed. We were seated and greeted by our waitress within minutes. She asked and helped with our choice of a before dinner cocktail, and after she returned with them in a very timely matter, asked if we would like an appitizer. As if she was reading our minds she suggested a shrimp & lobster dip w/chips. It was "the bomb!" We both ordered the Ceaser sald which we were both very impressed with. The greens were fresh and the thinly sliced Parmission cheese was perfect. We had to force ourselves to stop eating it to save room for dinner as it was plentiful. We both ordered the prime rib (she had it traditional and I with the Bernaise sauce). My lady friend had the sweet potatoe and I the baked. Both of which were done to prfection and hers had the flavor of grandma's sweet potatoe at Thanksgiving.(delicious!) Both too large for either of us to finish. We both had to take some steak and our potatoe home for leftovers as we were stuffed! And to top it all off...our waitress brought us a small complimetory dish of icecream with some kind of sauce that I can't remember...wish my girl(friend) was here helping me type this cuz she'd remember. All I know is it was DELICIOUS! We both agreed on one thing. When we come back to this area,we WILL eat here agin.I have paid alot more in Omaha for the same experiance. We can't wait to eat here again.
Pros: Great food,great servive,fair prices
