Review content:
I have been suffering from deteriorating eyesight for the past 3-4 years. I was diagnosed with keratoconus and was referred to a cornea specialist. At my first visit I was scheduled for a corneal transplant! To no surprise I was shocked and scared! Feeling that I deserved a second opinion I looked online for a keratoconus specialist and found Dr. Kurtin in Plano, TX. He was very caring and patient with me the whole way through. He discussed my condition with me in a way that I could understand. He offered me some options and I was fitted for a special hybrid contact lens. So far my vision has improved drastically. I am a teacher and depend a great deal on my eyes. I understand that my vision will continue to change as the condition progresses although I am comforted in knowing that Dr. Kurtin will do what he can within his means to achieve the best vision for me possible. I continue to have an open mind and realize that one day I may in fact need a corneal transplant, but until then I?ll rely on my AWESOME Dr. Kurtin! Pros: AWESOME
