My cat was started behaving differently about a week ago. He was constantly attacking his tail, biting at his paws, and skin was twitching. I took him to my parents vet (up in Slippery Rock), and he said that it was a seizure and prescribed Phenobarbital, even though he never actually had a full blown seizure. My cat was on it for about a week and I decided to get a second opinion. Dr. Ruiz listened to all my concerns and gave my cat a thorough physical examination. She said that his symptoms sounded neurological (something my own research was suggesting) and she gave me a referral. I really appreciated that seemed genuine in her concern, and she was never dismissive. Pros: Dr.Ruiz, Care Credit Cons: nothing that I saw.
