Review content:
I have been taking my pets to Greenfield Veterinary Hospital for several years now, based upon a recommendation of an animal loving colleague (the proud owner of dogs, cats, birds, fish, and a horse). When I only had cats, I found the veterinary care to be satisfactory. My cats did not have any severe health problems and for yearly checkups and the occasional flea treatment, I had no complaints. However, a few years ago, I rescued a dog. She is an older dog and has multiple health problems. I have been severely dissapointed with the service I have received during the time that we have been treating her for her issues. There have been several instances of poor customer service - one time, we waited for 2.5 hours to be seen. After the dog was diagnosed with a health issue requiring a prescription diet, Dr Winnie disappeared and left me with the vet tech to discuss the course of treatment. The vet tech did not give me the proper instructions and a new set of health problems was created. I have been attempting to order her prescriptions online and the office has been remiss in responding to repeated inquiries to fax the prescription information to the company. As far as Dr Winnie is concerned, I run hot and cold with him. I find the way he speaks to me to be condescending and off putting at times, however, I am consistently pleased with his gentle and caring demeanor toward animals. I find their prices to be reasonable and their hours and location to be convenient. I have continued to go to Greenfield Veterinary Hospital despite being moderately to severely dissatisfied with our most recent visits, but we are ready to take our business elsewhere.
