Review content:
I was hesitant to go here after seeing the mixed reviews, but after my first visit, I'd shout for them from the rooftops. They ran on time and had impeccably clean exam rooms. The exam was more than adequate, and when I requested extra attention to her teeth, I got it without question. My cat was much more relaxed at a cat-only vet, very inquisitive. (In comparison, at Porter Square Vets, she tried to climb on my head.) My cat was given treats and her nails were clipped. There were two people to hold her for nail clipping and her vaccination, both expertly done. My cat is a hisser, and they were not fazed in the least. When she did not respond to one method of comforting, they tried another, and made sure she was perfectly comfortable before stopping. My vet LOVED my cat, laughed at her attitude, oohed and ahhed over her, introduced me to the two office cats that sleep on the printer and computer monitor, respectively. They did not push me to bring in a stool sample (which I did, and which did cost extra), but informed me it was an option. When I expressed interest in their prescription dental food, they offered me a "sample" . . . which was a quart bag full of food. They have wonderful cat beds and toys for sale, as well as other products they recommend. Pros: Location, Standard of Care
