Review content:
Took car for safety inspection. Charged $40 for inspection and $48 for wipers and a bulb. Said couldn't do inspection because computer was in reset mode. Told me to bring it back when engine light comes on. Brought back week later with engine light on. Owner reset computer, said it probably the gas cap. Gas cap passed inspection first day. Bought new gas cap. Owner said would run diagnostic if it came back on. Engine light back on few days later. Said I have to pay for another inspection. Mechanic said leave car and would have to pay for at least half hour of labor diagnostic. 3 hours later owner calls. Says they can't do diagnostic work. Paid $89 and in same spot. Asked owner why he didn't tell me a week earlier they couldn't do required diagnostic if not gas cap. Asked why let car sit 3 hours for nothing. Answer was they were busy. Have to take car elsewhere and pay for inspection again. Kwik Kar wasted my time/money cause they don't pay attention to what they are doing/don't care about customer service. This is a franchise so the owner doesn't have to answer to anyone. When I got aggravated and asked why he handled it the way he did, got no explanation. Told customers in his waiting room hoped they were only getting oil changed. He got mad, stuck finger in my face/told me to leave. He was mad. I left. Don't let this happen to you. Only competent to do most minor things, don't keep records/get mad if you say something.
