Visited on 3/6/07 - I would agree with the reviews previous to mine that stated average doesn't cut it on the Gulf. I picked this place because it looked promising from the street, relatively new and not as cheesy in appearance as others in the area. I was a little disappointed when I got inside, it does not seem that the owners have kept up on maintenance, it appeared weathered and worn. Maybe I am a perfectionist but the worn off paint in the middle of our table bugged me. But aside from the cosmetics the food was average but to be fair the portions were large. Overall its average.
