Worst customer service that I have ever encountered. Rude and very unprofessional - just like their cleaning. I recently contracted cleaning with The Maids in Garland, Texas. This franchise was opened by Glen Goody. I contracted services, specifically move out services for a home that is 2,585 square feet. I also requested that my 170 square foot screened in patio be cleaned. I stated to the team leader, ?I want everything cleaned from top to bottom in order to prepare the house for the market. I do not need you to dust or clean the furniture as it will be moved soon.? The cost to me was $562.81. Upon arriving home, the interior windows had not been cleaned, the ceiling fans were still covered with dust, a dead palm leaf was still on the patio, the patio window sills were not touched. There are a few other items, as well. I called the franchise who sent a woman to my house. She told me that she was going to take pictures and told my daughter that she would call me the following week in order to schedule a time when the rest of the work could be done. No one called. I. This work was done on Thursday, August 11th, and today is Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I called today and left a message for a return call to no avail. I called back later and got a gentleman with a British accent on the phone. I explained who I was and he then told me that the work had, in fact, been done. He also stated that painters were in my home during the cleaning and that is wrong. They did not come until the following day. When I explained that to him, he hung up on me. To my knowledge, this man has never even seen the exterior of my home, let alone the interior. I called back and the call went to voice mail. I called from a different phone and a woman answered. I tried to explain to her that I was not looking for a refund, I simply wanted the work done. A refund does me no good as I need this home on the market and would have to pay someone else to complete the work. She, too, hung up on me. I was not being belligerent, yelling or swearing. I was simply trying to speak to someone in order to have my complaint heard.
