I've been a patient of Dr Mapes for 8 years. I can not EVER imagine going to any other doctor in Houston. He is an incredible guy, very knowledgeagle, and has an awesome personality. I'm always excited to go to his office each year to get new glasses because his eyewear is amazing, unique and always gets me tons of compliments. Yes, his office is more expensive than the boring chain stores, but well worth it! Their service, quality of frames, and customer service is worth any price. I've been informed I may be transferred out of state but, guess what, I will ALWAYS come back to Spectacles for my eye care and eyewear. Nothing beats Spectacles and Dr. Mapes.
Pros: unique eyewear, great glasses, great service, wonderful experience each visit
Cons: not open on Sunday - but I guess they deserve one day off a week = LOL
