We bought a high-end dishwasher (paid $1600 upfront) with them on 15 August 07. It is now 13 November (that's right, 3 months later) and we are still waiting on the door panel and the extended warranty. Beautiful promises were made at the time of purchase (will be delivered within 3 days etc) but nothing happened. I had to call them every day, I was shuffled around on the phone from nitwit to nitwit, every time a more fantastic story was dished up. (For example: Everyone at Bosch (the manufacturer) is on holidays for a month.) After creating a terrible scene with much yelling, the dishwasher was finally delivered and installed (an extra $200, without tip) but without door panel. This means we have to manually hold the door down while loading the dish washer. Now, 2.5 months later, the door panel has finally arrived in their store. First I was told it would be delivered to our house. This didn't happen. Then they would come install it on Tuesday. I had to ring in the morning to find out at what time. (Because it's true, I really have nothing better to do then wait for their installer to show up... ) When I called, the sales guy had clearly forgotten about it. He rang me back with a new story, shifting the blame yet again to some unnamed third party. The new promise is that the installation will happen tomorrow. We'll see. Pros: local in Manhattan, not chain owned. Cons: poorest customer service ever, not worth the trouble, not especially good pricing.
