Review content:
Walked in with beautiful hair that hung down to my butt to get a 4" trim of my ends and light layering by Leslie (brought pictures of Kim Kardashian as reference), left with a butchered mullet that barely touches my shoulders. It's an unlivable humiliating haircut. Owner Shelly was hostile, refused to take responsibility or show sympathy despite my severe emotional distress over the cut. Had to get the police involved when Shelly refused to tell me her name as well as other stylist's name who tried to salvage Leslie's butchering. Police were called. Umm yes this is going to court. Besides the outrageous assault to my hair, the attitude of Shelly and Leslie to what was done to me is sickening. I am now seeking medical attention for emotional and physical distress. My identity, my self-esteem, my self image was stolen in that salon. There is no excuse for a 4" trim to be misinterpreted in any way ending up in a nearly 2 feet of hair chopped off. There isn't even enough to pull my hair into a ponytail ... and I walked in there with hair to my butt. Shelly had a moral and professional obligation to try to work with me. Instead she refused to pay for professional quality extensions to at least give me the look I had back, then flippantly told me to go buy some clip-ons. I'm excited to see how she possibly can defend herself in court. Everything that happens in her salon is her liability. As the owner, she shouldn't be so ignorant to think otherwise. Amazingly, Leslie is still employed there. 4" was requested, almost 2 feet of hair lost. That's beauty school 101. I refuse to be forced to suffer a soccer mom mullet when I had long gorgeous Cher hair. I did not ask for a makeover, I was never asked if more than 4" could be removed. Let's see if Shelly and her staff perjure themselves in court. Pictures don't lie -- nor do emails and notarized affidavits.
