What a disappointment! I have driven past Ganache for the past two years or so and have always wanted to try it. I am planning a baby shower and thought a cupcake display would be a nice alternative to a cake, plus it would be a good excuse to try a cupcake. It's clean and the store front is very pretty, but that's about the only nice thing I can say. The girl at the front counter wasn't very friendly and completely unhelpful. She gave me a book with pricing/designs but when I was ready to talk about placing an order, she told me to call 3 or 4 days before my shower. I shrugged it off and thought I'd come back to order another day. I still wanted to try a cupcake and I'm SO glad I did before I ordered 50! I paid over $12 for a vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and red velvet. I ate the vanilla and was shocked at how bad it was. Lackluster decoration. The cake was dense and dry with no flavor, but the worst part was the frosting. Tastes EXACTLY like the overwhelming sugar/crisco buttercream you'd find from an amateur cake decorating recipe. Sickeningly sweet and heavy with crunchy sugar sprinkles on top. It actually made me nauseated. Unlike other reviewers, I really don't care that they weren't mega sized cupcakes, but for over $3 each I wholeheartedly expected them to taste amazing. For 3 bucks I could have made a dozen Duncan Hines that taste better. So glad I didn't serve these to my guests. Will not be back and wouldn't recommend.
