I'll admit that I'm kind of a traditionalist when it comes to grooming and fashion. I grew up going to the neighborhood barbershop where men sat around talking about the weather, their crops, politics and the like. It was really a matter of convenience that forced we away from this type of barber shop--they never seem to be open when I have time for a hair cut. It was with great reluctance that I began visiting chain salons for a hair cut. They never did a bad job on my hair--I go for a pretty simple style, which helps--but it was always more of a chore than a positive experience to get my hair cut. Not so with Hair M. I now find myself looking forward to my next hair cut. The atmosphere combined with the quality of service make it a great experience. For our anniversary this year, my wife of 12 years gave me the Stress Eliminator package. Wow! I honestly don't remember ever being as relaxed as I was when they finished with me. I added the striaght razor shave a few days later and got the closest shave of my life. My 5-year-old daughter even noticed how close it was just be LOOKING at me: "Daddy, you got rid of the pokey things on your face?" Hair M provides not only a great haircut, it's a great experience!
Pros: Great atmosphere, highly skilled staff, excellent services
Cons: $$$ - I have a hard time justifying their haircuts as a default.
