Review content:
Of course the only review so far was posted by the President of University Properties, Tampa, Fl. and what would you expect him to say? As a homeowner in a development utilizing this firm, I am only one of many homeowners who are very disappointed in the services provided by this firm. Association meetings are held monthly at 6:00pm -- a time that is very inconvenient for people to attend. Most of us work and/or have children, making it almost impossible. Requests to start at 7:00 fall on deaf ears. The main problem, however, is their lack of attention to their responsibilities for monitoring and dealing with obvious violations of our by-laws. One homeowner has gone to the trouble to take photos of the violations and email them to our association president and the Univ. Property Manager for our development in order to help them become more aware of the problems and to deal with them. Because the person sending these emails has chosen to remain anonymous, the Property Manager claims she has been instructed to block/not respond to those emails unless the person sending them can prove he/she is a homeowner in the development. They seem more interested in identifying this person than in dealing with the problems brought to their attention. Instead of responding to the helpful intentions of these emails, they have taken an adversarial position. We are now working to put together a group of concerned homeowners large enough to demand they simply do the job we are paying them for. If that fails, we will press to terminate their services.
