Review content:
Voted Houston's Best Bookstore, a title well deserved from the Houston Press, Quarter Price Books is host to a grand assortment of books within the small yet cozy store.
No space is left uncovered with stacks of books at every turn, yet the helpful markings will guide you to whatever you need.
Whether you're looking for classic authors or contemporary, books on history or art, Quarter Price Books will have it on hand. If not, don't hesitate to ask the staff, so when your request does come in they'll call you first thing.
On the hunt for antiquarian books or first editions, look no further, Quarter Price Books has a variety of first editions and discontinued prints. And don't forget to look for sales, often tables are setup outside the store for deals you won't find anywhere else.
Known as the Headquarters For Thinkers, a moniker on the free bookmarks given with every purchase, the two gentleman that manage the bookstore are selling more than books. At the cost of only a little time, the owners would be happy to give their insight on literature, philosophy, history or whatever sparks your fancy
Corporate book chains like Borders or Barnes & Noble are terrific for new commercial titles or a variety of non-book related items, but if you're looking for good books, a warm friendly staff and intriguing conversation, head to Quarter Price Books for all those things at a quarter the price.
