First of all, I went on a Sunday. Bad choice. I asked at the counter (when I finally got to it) and they confirmed that yes, I came at the worst (busiest) time of the week. Well, it's popular for a reason anyway. I ordered the asparagus eggs benedict. I really like eggs benedict and don't get a chance to have it very often. It came with home style (chunks) potatoes and black beans. It was a bit bland. Both the eggs benedict and the potatoes. Bummer. My husband got a different dish (not a breakfast) and chose the mashers (mashed potatoes) for his side item. I snuck a forkful of the mashers and those alone are worth going back for! One of the reasons I wanted to go there was that I was looking for a place to help socialize my rescued pooch and I'd heard that they are "dog friendly" (on the outside patio only, of course). I'd also heard that they'd stopped being "dog friendly" due to complaints. When we were there, it was BUSY, but a couple of people arrived with dogs and a server brought water bowls out for them. Nice. I'll have to go try it again and post an update. The desserts looked "to die for", so maybe I'll bring the dog (not on Sunday) and kick back with some coffee and dessert.
