Ever wanted to help starving children across the world, but didn't know how. Well, this is the place for you. At Feed My Starving Children you take two hours out of your day and you along with about 30-40 people help package over 10,000 meals.
At FMSC $.94 of every dollar donated goes directly to helping people. They are one of ten non profits in the Twin Cities that can claim this.
FSMC had the food scientist at General Mills, Pillsbury and Cargill creat a rice mixture that is nutritious, tastes good and helps keep kids from dying.
This is an amazing place and in two hours you can do so much to help. If you are looking for a good place to volunteer, take your kids or whatever - GO!
