It's been years since I've been at Bogart's. My mother insited on taking me there for my birthday last Sunday afternoon. I was reluctant to go to just another steakhouse on the south side since I've been spoiled with fine foods in the city for the past 8 year. But I went nevertheless. My mood sparked up as soon as I walked into the dining room, beautifully decorated for Christmas. The atmosphere was relaxing and our server delightfull. I ordered a ribeye steak and Mom the potroast. The presentation of the food was very pretty and we both agree that it was one of the BEST restaurant meals we've had in a long time. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the potroast was phenomenal. Turned out to be a pretty great birthday lunch afterall.
