Review content:
We will never go to the restaurant ever again. The six of us went to Bogarts for lunch on Saturday. We ordered quite a lot of food. Most of it was mediocre. My mom and I had the ribs. The waiter told us they would fall off the bones. Instead, they were a little tough. Bennigan's makes better ribs. In addition, my niece ordered the porkchop. She took one bite, said it was tough, not seasoned well, and had no flavor. She did not like it and told the waiter so. He took it away. She had to get back to a meeting so she left before the waiter returned with the check about 25 minutes later. When we got the bill, we saw the pork chop was still listed. We summoned the waiter over and told him the problem. He said he thought "she (?) had taken care of it." We didn't know who "she" was. About 5 minutes, "she" came over to our table. She turned out to be Kathy, the owner. She was looking for the person who had sent back the pork chop. We told her my niece had to leave early. We added that my niece had not liked the pork chop, that she thought it was tough, not seasoned well, and had no flavor. Kathy went on to say that "they" had tasted the pork chop and "they" thought it was fine. She also added that "they" had been able to cut it with a butter knife. She also said that just because someone didn't like their meal was not a good enough reason not to pay for it. We countered by saying again that my niece thought the pork chop was tough and did not taste good. Kathy again said that "they" thought it tasted fine. She finally relented a bit and told us she would charge us 1/2 price for the pork chop. We spent almost $200 at this place. To have someone tell us, the customers, that our thoughts about the taste and quality of the food didn't matter was insulting. Thank you, Kathy, for taking $10 off the bill and thank you for saving us, our friends, our familiies, and anyone else who will listen from ever spending another dime in your mediocre restaurant. Pros: None worth mentioning Cons: Bad attitude of the owner
