Review content:
One of the best field trips when I was homeschooling my kids is when we went to the New Braunfels Smokehouse. The tour was very interesting, the smells were wonderful and they gave us jerky samples which the kids loved. At another location they have their restaurant. You can still purchase the smoked meats in the restaurant and they will even ship them if you would like. They have a catalog so if you're interested, but sure and get on their mailing list. The best thing I have had at their restaurant is the port chops, they were tender and delicious. They have been smoking meat since 1945 and do a wonderful job of it.
