I am a current board member and resident of Greenway Gables, a 43 unit town home complex in Minneapolis managed by Gittleman. We transitioned to Gittleman from another management company a little over a year ago. The transition was very smooth and provided our association with several benefits especially a very strong, hands on property manager. We did not have a primary property manager with our previous management company.
Our property manager does a great job managing our on site maintenance engineer as well as handling resident requests and complaints quickly and with tact. Our property manager also has reduced the work load of board members by drafting board meeting minutes, handling official board memo's to residents and managing capital project bidding processes for painting, windows and other association projects.
Other benefits provided by Gittleman include strong financial support via procuring favorable CD's rates for reserve funds and comprehensive financial reporting. Our association has benefited from Gittleman's expertise in managing difficult situations such as effectively managing ice dams last winter that involved an insurance claim and extensive negociation with the insurance company that was resolved favorable for the association. Gittleman also helped the board to successfully manage a controversial window replacement project financed by individual homeowners.
I have been very pleased with Gittleman's performance.
