Review content:
Every time I go to Nordstroms in the Westside Pavillion I'm very impressed with the level of service in the shoe department. I am always approached by numerous sales asssociates offering to help me, and today was no exception. Within the first thirty seconds, I was greeted. Within the first five minutes, someone was off to grab the shoes I wanted to try on. While I was waiting, two more sales associates asked me if I needed help. After that I learned why. The manager walked up to two of his associates and told them to "sell hard" and "rack up the dough." I understand that this is the point of their job -- to rack up sales and potentially earn commissions, but I don't think it's appropriate for the manager to make it so obvious. Nonetheless, the commission system must be working, because I got all the help I needed, and did end up buying two pairs of shoes!
