Review content:
Farley Family Medicine is a small clinic located near downtown Little Elm. I have only been there once, but definitely intend to return. The clinic appears to be run by a sole-practitioner, Dr. Derek Farley. He was gentle, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. I was there to receive treatment for an illness and was given prompt attention. Dr. Farley was unlike other doctors in the past who have quickly treated me, charged me an outrageous amount and rushed me out the door. He was interested in discussing my present illness as well as future health goals, family history, concerns, and tests I should be having at this age and several years from now. I felt like I was treated as an individual rather than a number.
The only thing I thought was a little strange was that he took my picture for my patient file. Like most women in my position, I wasn't thrilled, being that I was sick, looked horrible, and was running a fever. I realize now that he receives many new patients every day and at least is making a big effort to get to know his patients as individuals rather than be one of those busy doctors who pretends to know who you are when they have no clue.
I definitely recommend this clinic.
