My daughter went here (age 18 months-24months). I saw things that made me sick. Form your own opinions but here are some things to ask yourself....
1. What are they doing every time I pick my child up regardless of the time of day? (I found this answer to be the simple word of nothing or flashcards)
2. What are the teachers always doing? (here's what I found. Sitting not at eye level with the kids talking to each other or with a bored look on their face)
3. Why does my kid keep getting sick (hmmmm one of their recent violations was using wipes in place of hand washing)
4. Where are all the toys and art work and kids music and just simple fun stuff.....
We left as soon as we found another daycare with an opening, which is not an easy task in this area as most places have long long wait lists. And we LOVE the new place. The difference makes me feel guilty for the little time she was at Childrens cottage. (check out Immanuel Lutheran School in the Heights...15th and Cortland.)
