And Pearland has finally joined the ranks of downtown competitors, by having one.
They are conveniently located between central Pearland and Silverlake. They occupy a nice office, with an adequate waiting area and lots of periodicals. Their staff is friendly and cooperative.
Unfortunately after registering with them during a period of unemployment, I was only referred to one job interview in eight months. I did check back with them on a regular basis, but they never had any positions available for anyone with experience and education which paid more than $9 an hour.
I would recommend them as an employment resource, but I would definitely use others and not depend solely on their contacts until they are better established.
