Review content:
The cuisine is basically Italian with some slight variations, the prices are moderate to high, and the quality is outstanding. The martinis are very popular, but I was more impressed with the wine list of some 89 different wines varying in price all the way up to $350 a bottle. That is a little out of my price range and I opted for the 2005 Monte Antico Cabernet/Merlot blend. It was very nice for the price and went well with lunch that consisted of a shared Greek Salad and a Capellini di Angelo. Everything was fresh, just as expected, and nicely balanced. It was the perfect start to the rest of the afternoon and the walking tour adventure. The Ski Resort is scheduled to open November 7. If you are in the neighborhood to partake of all the winter fun the area has to offer, be sure to take some time to explore both the history of the town and the fine offerings at the Blue River Bistro. If you have a taste for history and a taste for good food, neither choice will disappoint.
