I am currently in the process of working with Homepointe for a rental that me and my wife were interested in. The first problems we had were getting anyone to respond to our questions with true answers and not just more questions about us. After finally seeing the property and agreeing to a lease and price for the rental, they tried to tell us we had to move in within 14 days. This isn't possible since you always have to give your current residence a 30 day notice. Lastly, we got them to agree to a proper move in date. After signing the contract and giving them the deposit, they are now trying to change some of the terms of the contract a week before we are scheduled to move in. Also, we have spent the last 2 weeks getting our utilities setup, as well as looking at new furniture, to find out they are talking about refunding our deposit if we do not agree to their new terms. This is the most unprofessional, "used car salesman" like operation I have ever seen. Pros: Nice Property Cons: Bad Management
