I hired Blue Skye Screening to build a sunroom addition to my home in March 2010. Over one year and two failed inspections later, the owner refuses to finish the job. After being paid in full in June of 2010, he stopped returning my phone calls for weeks at a time, before finally scheduling an inspection in September, which then failed. He subsequently removed a window from the room in November in order to replace the glass, and left us with a gaping hole. He was supposedly going to bring it back in a few weeks, which turned into months. He claimed to have brought it to the window manufacturer and it was waiting on them. Well I finally called that company and found he never even brought it in. So one day I come home from work and find the window was put back, no repair made. After several more months of no returned phone calls, I had to resort to having an attorney contact him. He finally responded after this and scheduled another inspection in March, which also failed since he only completed one of the necessary repairs. Again, no return phone calls. I finally had to complete the job myself, at my own expense, in order to get the room to pass inspection. I have spent countless hours and missed time from work dealing with this horrible situation and have not been able to enjoy the room I paid for. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy.
