Glen, a certified arborist, inspected our ailing pine tree, determined what the problem was and identified the environmental factors that may have contributed to the problem. He explained everything, including my options and the pros/cons of each. I was pleased that one option involved treatments to try to save the tree. I also liked the fact that I never felt like he was rushing me or trying to sell me on something. By the end of our conversation, I had a lot of knowledge, some options to consider, and a fair estimate.
In the end, I decided to have the one tree taken down and another one trimmed. The work was done quickly and when they left, my yard was actually cleaner than before they got here. There's a big difference between consulting an arborist and calling a 'tree chopper.' I'm glad I chose an arborist and am extremely pleased that I found and friendly, honest company.
