Review content:
I have never written a review on citysearch, just to let you know how strong my opinion is this time. I had a groupon for a haircut, full highlights and kerastase conditioning treatment with Ashley. The haircut was decent - I've had better - though it is a good 1.5 inches shorter than what I said I wanted so that's slightly annoying but I could deal with it. However, when we were discussing what color I wanted for my highlights (my hair is naturally a light-medium brown), I said and quote, "I do not want blonde. I don't want to be able to see blonde streaks. I want more of a golden brown color, something just to brighten it up a little bit but very natural looking. Overall, not too different from what my hair color is now." Ashley repeated back to me, "ok, so just something very natural looking." So I thought we were on the same page. I walked out with BLONDE hair. Not only that, but it was very uneven, i had a big chunk of blonde on one side right at the front and one in the middle of my head. Her technique looked very unnatural. I didn't notice the chunkiness until I got home and in front of a closer mirror, so when she asked me how I liked the color and i said "It's much lighter than I wanted, but I could probably deal with it for now," her response was, "well that's good." Needless to say, I went somewhere else to get it fixed. To be fair, I'm sure I could have gone back to White Salon and had someone else there fix it, but I was scared off for good.
