Businiess name:  Jim's Music Center

Review content:
Jim's music is sort of like a used car dealer. Omar in the wind section sold my son a saxophone that his music teacher immediately identified as junk. Unfortunately, we could not convince them to either get us a refund or apply the cost to a new instrument. They did agree to sell us a decent horn (at not a bad price), and try to sell the old one on consignment. A year later , it was still unsold. A friend popped in for me and described to Omar the exact horn that was accepted on consignment. Omar said that they did not have anything like that! I can only conclude that they were hoping I'd forget the issue and abandon the horn to them. If you really know your stuff, it is probably OK.. But do not look for honest guidance here -- go to some other music store such as Sam Ash. It will be worth the drive. Pros: Convenient. NIce inventory Cons: High pressure, low honesty
