Businiess name:  Advantage Rent-A-Car

Review content:
I don't know if all their offices are like this, but I would avoid the Victorville office. My rental was paid for by Ford, so I'm not sure I got the full effect of their wacky policies. Several things were different from the national companies I've used. For instance, there is a $5 per day charge to add a spouse to the rental contract. If you want insurance, you have to purchase it from a third party company. The brochures for the insurance are right there, but it's a different company. Any claims would go through somebody besides the rental company. There were all sorts of signs hanging around the office warning renters of various policies. Including the policy of bringing the car back with the same amount of gas as when you left. No effort to start you with a full tank. Your just get whatever is in the tank and have to guesstimate to get it back to that level. The manager kept explaining that all this allowed them to offer lower rates. I didn't see prices much lower, especially with all the promotions available from the national companies.
