Review content:
Get knowledgeable before using Moy Construction. I have had most of my home remodeled by contractors and handymen that actually new little of what needed to be done. So that cause me to get informed so I know just as much if not more than the AVERAGE contractor/handyman. I normally do not write reviews as I see most reviews of only by upset consumers, but now understand that WE feel taken advantage of etc. I would have not written this review if Moy would have kept up with their word and returned my money. I have given them chances to make things right and they choose not to even when it was written in a so called contract and text message from Mr. Moises Chavez said they would.
Reasons for firing Moy construction:
Lying about material being used..... insisted it was from Interceramic but purchased from Home depot and Lowe's (petty lie) (should have kicked him out the door then, since that set the tone of what was to come)
Unlicensed plumber...( cause a leak during the construction, causing more damage to property)
Worthless tiler......(layout of the tile was completely EYEBALLED..really! no layout at all. And they stated they do this all the time! extremely small cuts all at one corner, and not the other. (lets see where they end up is what was on his mind)
Not only worthless tilers but three different hands trying to correct the mistake....SOLUTION: Lets pull some up and space the tiles wider to make up for the cut. Causing larger grout lines in some places then others.
They also used mastic thinset in the floor! (they used it all the time, even though the manufactures state not to use it in wet areas especially the shower floor. (wow)
With all that said there was nothing going to make me happy except for them to tear it out and start over, and his comment was then he needed MORE MONEY, since they were already loosing with the 1/3 deposit I had given them and they had to pay their worthless employees.
