Businiess name:  Radio Shack

Review content:
I signed my Verizon contract and bought my phone at this Radio Shack. It was a good deal- I signed a 2-year contract and received a nice Samsung phone for $20. I did get charged an activation fee, which surprised me because it was my experience with Cingular and T-Mobile that that fee is waived for a 2 year contract- with T-mobile I even got it waived for a one year contract. I did ask at Radio Shack if they would waive it, but no dice. I was also disappointed because the salesman couldn't port my number from TMobile. It wasn't clear exactly what the problem was, but in the end I decided not to pursue the port and got a new number. It was a 410 number- I guess they ran out of the DC area codes for cell phones. The experience with the Radio Shack was fine. For cell service in DC in general, I recommnd Verizon because it worksn the metro.
