My husband and I went on a road trip from Michigan and ended up in Florida. I seen the website for this resort and wanted to look at it before booking our stay. The staff at the desk gave us a Kitchenette room for the price of a standard room. The staff here are extremely friendly. The cleaning ladies always made sure we had everything we needed. We had the best room and view that they have. (Room 272). We must have taken a few thousand pics of the ocean, sunrise, and the waves. This place is the most relaxing place I have ever been. My husband and myself go on road trips a few times a year and this one was by far the best. In fact we are returning for the holidays. We left our room door open and sat outside everyday and enjoyed the view. The public beach to the left of the resort is great for sea shell hunting after the tide recedes. The private beach was great for sun tanning. The pools were sparkling clear. I cant wait to return. Some people like "ritzy" places to stay. I prefer the places that give you an at "home" feeling.
