I live in Sugar land but didn't know about Mike Tate's 99 Tire and Auto until a AAA serviceman came to my house to change my car battery. He referred me to Mike Tate's and I'm so glad he did. Mike's Tate's is small but well run, clean and professional. I've had my state inspection and various other auto maintenance performed there (alignment, oil change, etc.), and have been satisfied every time. They do get busy and I recommend calling ahead of time to schedule an appointment. If you have an appointment, getting your service is quick and easy. You drop off your car and they tell you approximately what time it will be ready. Last time, i walked across the way to McDonald's and had lunch while waiting, and within an hour or so, i received a call that my car was ready. Overall solid, reliable service.
