Businiess name:  The Happy Ending Bar & Restaurant

Review content:
During the year (2008, so ya this review is long overdue) I was interning in LA for a small production company I would frequent Happy Ending at least 2 times a week for lunch. It didn't hurt that it was literally across the street from our offices! I was introduced by two other interns that had been there a few months before me and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. At first glance you see a bar but when you read the menu you are greeted by filet mignon sliders, truffle herb fries, beet and goat cheese salad and a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup combo that will bring a big smile to any nostalgic American that ate them as a kid. The service was always nice and never failed to give me a good laugh with their great humor. Another cool thing, you can play trivia games on the little touch screens on each booth, while you wait for your food. Other than that, they have wheel of fortune which is put into use at night (Tuesdays?), a lobster aquarium, and if you're feeling adventuress you can order yourself a nice refreshing FISH BOWL of your favorite libation. Yes it's an actual fish bowl. I haven't visited for about two years now, hope it hasn't changed too much. I haven't heard many great things about the nightlife there and the, uh, "bouncer situation" from a few of my guy friends. LOL Nevertheless the 4 stars is for the great lunch-time memories. =)
