Review content:
We started using Dr McClain when we were pregnant with our first child. Seems like Lufkin has a severe shortage of pediatricians and none of the one's we do have suited me. Dr McClain is a family practice doctor. He was at the hospital every day we were there just like a pediatrician would be. He has such a sweet nature about him. When you go to him for visits he will stay with you until you get all of your questions answered. Sometimes you do have a long wait for him. But, that's just because he treats all of his patients with the same time and patience he does you. I really like the fact he's not really quick to prescribe antibiotics. He believes in letting illnesses run there course. But, if it does need immediate attention he's quick to give it. He's only a phone call away for us. If you need him he personally will call you back ASAP! If you are looking for a good family doctor John McClain is the one.
