Review content:
After 3 calls over two days trying to make reservations, I was finally able to reach someone who "could access the reservation computer". We were seated promptly at a table in a very narrow high traffic area though a table was available in a better space. The restaurant was maybe half-full at this time. We waited 15 minutes and saw the wait staff standing around chatting with the hostess...mind you they were standing 3 feet from us. I finally asked the hostess if she could have our waitress come to the table. 10 minutes later I approached the manager, finally our waitress appeared and apologized. She was very pleasant throughout the meal. The food was fine, the chocolate milk looked like beige milk and did not taste of chocolate. The hot cocoa was excellent as were the homemade chips. For brunch in Berkeley there are many many better options.
