Businiess name:  Lilly's Dim Sum Then Some
Review by:  J. Edward L.
Review content:
The name is a little misleading. If you want authentic dim sum, the only option you have in Central Arkansas is Chi’s Restaurant on Shackleford Road. Lilly’s has some appetizers that resemble dim sum, but nothing authentic or unique. I honestly don’t understand the hype about this place. The food is okay, but not exceptional. I’m also not quite sure if they really want to be a restaurant that features Asian cuisine or if they’re more intent upon going a fusion route. In either case, they miss the mark. Some of the dishes are tasty like the chicken curry and the panko crusted orange roughy- but there’s nothing exceptional here. One plus- the wine list offers a wide selection – in terms of vintage and price. I don’t mind going here, but it’s just average as far as value and execution. The average mom and pop Chinese takeout restaurant provides just as many options at a far more reasonable price.
