Over 1 yr later and they still have not paid the sub contractors who are still sending me letters despite our legal settlement done between our attorneys. YES it was that bad!! We built a multi level patio with an outdoor kitchen and roof, 3 additional rooms/areas and a hot tub enclosure. We used high end materials such as brick laid in mortar, pure stone walls and blue stone capping throughout. We also widened our driveway during the project. The company used a bait and switch on part of the job to try to get us to pay quite a bit more because "they bid the job too low and didn't cost it out properly." This was after completing 1/2 of the work on the driveway then letting it sit for weeks all torn up. Deadline after deadline was missed - after a year we decided to part ways with multiple items not completed. We made many concessions to try to get the job completed and in the end agreed to settle because the legal bills were such that we would probably spend more money to be proven right and win so we opted to cut our losses. In the end the project was never completely finished and Spinieo reneged on various aspects of the contract as well as $1,200 in credit owed for the removal of a blue stone border despite having it in writing. The contract was with Spinieo Inc (aka Spinieo Landscaping) but was initially run by a subsidiary of Spinieo, Platinum Pools Inc. They operate from the same office and address and we were told all decisions for both companies are executed by the owner - Chris Spinieo
