Businiess name:  Vieng Thai 2000

Review content:
I am always looking for a great restaurant, and to me, a restaurant is great if it has great food. Vieng Thai is a hole in the wall and the atmosphere is nothing to rave about, but the food is another story. Almost all the Thai people I know refer me here when I ask them where to go. The menu has some Thai dishes I've never tried but all the items I've sampled, like the stink beans (written up in the newspaper) and a mild curry sauce with ground pork, and spicy fried fish fillet are perfectly executed and wonderfully Thai. The litmus test for me are the noodle dishes. How is their pad thai and pad see ew? Just like when I got it on the street in Bangkok. The portions are not overly large, but the food here is wonderful. Beware the spicy barometer for Thai food is very very high. If you can't really eat spicy (like me) make sure you get mild or not spicy, or you will have a burning mouthful of food so spicy you can't taste it. Pros: Excellent authentic Thai food Cons: place is small and dumpy
