I was recently referred to Terah for a massage by a friend. My friend always brags on Terah's technique, patience, attentiveness, knowledge and professionalism. I called to schedule an appointment with her on a Saturday at 2:00. I arrived for my appointment about 10 minutes early only to be told that my appointment was not with Terah, it was with a therapist named Kelly. I was a little upset since I had specifically asked for Terah,(because of the referral) but didn't want to make the other therapist uncomfortable...it was not her fault.(Kelly did say that this happens a lot with Terah's clients) I went ahead and got the massage....Kelly was very nice, but the massage....IT WAS HORRIABLE!! I asked the therapist 2 times to please lighten her touch a little, but no response to my request. On Monday I had bruises on both shoulders. I have massages twice per month and have never been bruised before.
It does take an act of congress to get an appointment with Terah, because they will try to schedule you with everybody but her...but believe me it is very well worth it!!!!!!! (She does nails, massage and some type of sugar hair removal) I do go back to the salon to see Terah, but she is the only reason I return. The receptionist was not understanding, friendly or concerned about the appointment at all. Every time I go for a service I always feel as if I am interrupting the front desk personnel with their social time.
Overall the salon is in a great location and very pleasing to look at, it just needs a few adjustments!!!
Pros: Terah is wonderful!!!! Location is great.
Cons: Staff could be a little more friendly.
